Very nice place… good to rest while hiking… magnificent view

We were there early in the morning to start our hike from Steg to Grauspitz. We were treated to a small platter of bread, cheese, and sausage from the farm's own cheese dairy and animals. Truly delicious :) When we returned in the afternoon, we stopped again for refreshments. We also met the hut's owner, who kindly gave us a lift on his way back to Triesenberg. Thanks again! One quick note: payment is cash only. However, both Swiss francs and euros are accepted. We highly recommend this little hut!

In the summer, you can sit outside here in a lovely setting. You can enjoy cheese, homemade sausages, cold platters, sweets, and ice cream. The alp is easily accessible on foot and by bike from the Steg parking lot. From the alp, there are beautiful hikes and mountain bike tours.
