Quite enjoyed the town and the chateau. The glass museum is very interesting and makes for a pleasant Sunday. You could bring a picnic for the central courtyard of the chateau.

The chateau is a lovely place. Walk the Ramparts, Check out the well, and inside as well as the views toward the mountains!

Romont, a small town of defensive towers and its château set on a high hill with great views of the surrounding countryside. Visited on a cold, damp June Saturday, most commercial activity was closed after 4pm. The castle isn't a ruin and you can freely walk around the interior. There are some difficult steep stone staircases so young children must be accompanied. There is also the Swiss museum of Stained glass. Public toilets and car park.
