An oasis of warmth – Highly recommended! We had an absolutely extraordinary experience at this charming hotel and can recommend it without reservation! Instead of a room, we were allowed to pitch our tent in the beautiful garden, which was a real highlight for us and especially our children. The hospitality was overwhelming. Felix, the owner, is a true treasure! Not only did he give us a warm welcome and fulfill our every special request, but he even let our children fly his model hot air balloon – an unforgettable moment that made our children's eyes light up. The food was excellent, and every single service was characterized by incredible friendliness. You immediately feel welcome and completely at home here. We would love to come back anytime and would like to thank you again for the unforgettable time!
I celebrated my 65th birthday with 40 guests over two days at Werdtberg – everything was simply top-notch! The coordinated food and drinks were simply delicious. The accommodations were prepared with great attention to detail. My guests went home on Sunday with ecstatic eyes and a slight hangover. I highly recommend the venue.
Very beautiful place with a fantastic view of the alps, this is a must-see! The food is OK too but forget the watery coffee. But that is not really an issue, no problem with that. However….. when we arrived shortly after lunchtime, we were very rudely refused a table on the grounds of not having booked. There were however plenty of tables left on the terrace, and inside the restaurant all tables were free. We then got a table an hour later, only to wait for probably another hour to get the food we had ordered. While waiting, we witnessed the same rude behaviour with other guests looking for a table. The owner looked very stressed and nervous. An elderly couple who could barely walk were also rudely rejected, although there were tables free. Then a group of hikers wanted to drink something, and the owner rudely kicked them out since he apparently had run out of glasses and cups although half of the tables were free by that time! Its seems the restaurant is running on very reduced staff, but this does not excuse this rude behaviour…. what a disappointment!
