Crust crust crust : no no no. Wasserfels is quite far from making a good crust for their pizza. Ingredients are fine but the base of the pizza couldn’t pass the test for us. Including our 3 year old didn’t take the second bite. We ordered a plain spaghetti with butter for her to save the day. And were charged 12chf for this small portion of plain noodles. Ice cream… nearly disaster. Pistachio flavor tasted nothing like pistachio. Strawberry flavor just as bad. Chocolate flavor was embarrassing for Swiss standards. Vanilla ice cream was acceptable. Service was rushed and not pleasant. Honestly, compared to the next door - a great cafe Uferlos, unfortunately Wasserfels failed the day with us.

Visited here again on a warmer day and had to try something from their ice cream menu. I love how you get given a ‘mini menu’ and tick what selections you want then add your name at the bottom of your mini menu for ice cream. Will attach a photo so you can see what I mean. Delicious ice cream and Ofcourse a great view of the river Rhein.

Friendly waiters with excellent views of the lake! The food prices are very affordable, speaking in terms of Swiss pricing. A plate of seafood penne pasta costs about 25CHF and the Char fillet was worth the price. Sausage salad was a huge plate. Portion was acceptable and it was crowded with people on a Monday Evening.
