Restaurant Spedition : Villa Stettler, Gewerbestrasse 4, 3600 Thun

We (4 people) went for the special pop-up, but unfortunately, we had a bad experience. Although we paid around 80 CHF per person for dinner, it was not worth it. It clearly stated that the sushi was all-you-can-eat. However, the first course took an hour to be served, and the tempura and sushi took two hours. The fish was not fresh at all. The tempura was full of beans, and the mochi was completely forgotten until we asked for it. We were also almost forgotten for a long time, despite being told that the kitchen closes at 10 p.m., yet we were only served once. -Wakame salad There was almost no seaweed in it. - Tempura: It was full of beans and no prawn or fish. -Sushi: It's not fresh at all, and the presentation is very poor. - Mochi: They are frozen and not freshly made; they look like the ones from the supermarket. We often visit this restaurant because we know the food is great. I, as a Japanese person, was especially excited to eat sushi, so it was such a sad experience.

Wonderful location...you can't just build a place like this from scratch, one can feel history in every crack. Nothing stuffy awaits you here, but a cool yet warm interior designed by someone with exceptional taste and skill. The service is also remarkable. Fast and friendly. The food is ok, considering it was my first time here. The tartare was a little too much processed and seasoned, as it is often the case unfortunately. I just like to taste the quality of the meat. But ok, the side dishes were good and next time I will choose something else from the small but nice menu. I believe they can convince me.

Delicious food, generous portions, varied menu. Friendly and attentive staff, family atmosphere. I really enjoy relaxing on the terrace with its magnificent view. I highly recommend this place; it's become our favorite spot, both for celebrating events and for quiet conversations with friends. Many thanks to the chef and the team for a great time.
