Pure Vegetarian Chotivala (Unlimited Thali) : Centralstrasse 29, 3800 Interlaken

I had the pleasure of dining at Pure Vegetarian Chotivala in Interlaken, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch—prompt, friendly, and incredibly courteous. The staff made sure every need was attended to without being intrusive, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was simply outstanding. As a pure vegetarian, it’s rare to find such a wide variety of authentic and flavorful dishes. Every item we ordered was fresh, perfectly spiced, and tasted just like home-cooked Indian food. The balance of flavor and presentation was excellent. A heartfelt thank you to Goldi Bhai, the owner, whose warm hospitality truly stood out. His friendly nature, personal attention to each guest, and genuine passion for serving high-quality vegetarian food made the visit memorable. He makes every customer feel like family. We had been there for lunch. It’s from the same management as of Delhi darbar. While it’s not to be assumed as a branch of official chotiwala, the name is inspired. The staff is friendly, service was super quick ( almost unbelievably quick ) the rates, in my opinion are on the pricey side but flavours do the justice. Lots of chats options but we hesitated to order purely due to price per item, while I wish to explore the items over multiple visits. As there are not much pure veg options, I wouldn’t mind recommending it. Not everything are bells and whistles. I found the size of nan and parata to be too small than normal among what we ordered. Thali is something not to be missed I feel.

I've tried many different Indian restaurants in the world, and this by far is one of the very best in the heart of Interlaken. If you love Indian food, and fully vegetarian (and some vegan) options make sure to come here. The plate we had was delicious, the services was excellent, and the atmosphere was so relaxing, which only added to the whole experience. I can't want to come back to Interlaken to eat here again!
