Taverne : Höheweg 74, 3800 Interlaken

This was a lovely restaurant tucked away in the heart of Interlaken. The atmosphere was incredibly serene—perfect for a relaxing meal. I had their pulled beef burger with fries, and it was absolutely divine. I paired it with a ginger beer that was both refreshing and crisp. What truly stood out was their rare Swiss wine—exclusively sold at the restaurant. It was incredibly smooth and flavorful, a real treat for the palate. The service was just as impressive—warm, attentive, and prompt. Taverne is definitely a gem worth visiting!

Absolutely delicious!! Our favourite meal in Switzerland! We ordered the rosti and polenta cake for mains, which were so flavourful and great to try Swiss cuisine! Our favourite was definitely the chocolate fondue though, it was a great range of dipping options with delicious melted Swiss chocolate! Katy was an exceptional server and the rest of the staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend, and book in advance!

We called for a last minute reservation. Everyone was very friendly. The food was really good. 4/5 only because we’ve had better food for less money. Otherwise I can’t complain at all. The starters were definitely the star of the menu. Atmosphere is very laid back and the staff was very accommodating. Thank you for your hospitality.
