The service is really lovely. The rooms are functional and clean. The hotel rates are reasonable and you get your money’s worth. The location is ideal for hikes, there are hiking trails all around.

If you're in the area or just in Interlaken then this is one restaurant you gotta try. Note that the hours are below: 11:00-14:00 17:00-21:00 Wow, hands down best food I've had my entire trip here in Switzerland. I might be a little biased since i am familiar with the dishes I ate but they were cooked perfectly. The satay came out hot and the sauce had the correct consistency. The crispy duck was perfectly cooked, but the brown sauce needed a little more depth. I am surprised they didn't list all the sauces as options for this dish since i am used to this dish coming with sweet and sour, brown, or peanut sauce. Either way I used my leftover peanut sauce from the satay as my 2nd optional dip. Note that the duck dish does not come with any vegetables. Update: I couldn't resist the crispy duck and came back again but this time had the Sichuan Duck with fried rice and it was even better.

Went for ice creams: perfunctory presentation, not at all like the menu. Errors on kids' orders (which we placed). Otherwise fine. Went for evening meal: very limited menu. Spring rolls are very basic and massively overpriced. Other meals also overpriced, especially kids options like chicken nuggets. Main meals served across a 15 minute period for 7 people. The food was, at least, very tasty. As for location, Beatenberg is glorious. Just wait for a change of management at the Regina :(
