Absolutely excellent service! Waitress super friendly and so welcoming. The boss came personally to our table just to say hi and make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed, even though we only came to have some beers. Views are amazing, first line to the lake. Amazing, 100% recommended!! Thank you for giving us such a warm and perfect visit in our last night on vacation!

Always lovely to come to Walz Cafe! Last autumn we found ourselves in Brienz one morning, late for breakfast and in off season. Walz was the only place that took pity of us and served us a late breakfast/brunch - and we asked a bunch of places before. This summer we came during peak season and found the same lovely, helpful and welcoming staff. The food and desserts were also very good! The view is amazing! When in Brienz, make sure to eat here! You won't regret it.

Only taken meals and coffee here. The service was excellent and very friendly. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. I would go there again. Location is towards the old town with wonderful views over the lake from the dining area.
