The food is decent. After paragliding, we looked around for breakfast/ lunch. We ended up choosing this place because of their big menu We ordered a burger, nachos, and roasted pork. It may be plain to someone but a bit of salt will fix the problems. The food focuses on freshness. It is a huge restaurant with an amazing view of the glacier / mountain. I came in around / before noon so was greeted right away. However, during noon, maybe super busy. The food came out pretty quickly and portion is large, so you can do share dishes if you want. You have to pay extra for the sweet potatoes fried but i think it is totally worth it! Mind you, i didn't see anyone ordered the fondu so i can't speak for that.
This is decent Pub-style food. We saw the mixed reviews, but there were a lot of folks dining and we decided to roll the dice. The experience started with friendly and attentive staff. So, it was off to a good start... We shared the Ultimate Onion Burger with Sweet potato fries and the Chicken Alfredo. The Alfredo is nothing like an Italian creama sauce, but more like a cream of mushroom soup mixed with gravy. The chicken was a bit tough but decent. Mushrooms and veggies were good, especially when adding extra sauce. The Onion Burger was average. No complaints, but the sweet potato fries... wow, amazing! Look at the photos and youll see we ate everything. I doubt anything is cooked from scratch. At the same time you should contemplate the price for this area and consider if you want to spend double for a nearby restaurant with a 4.3-4.7 review. For quick grub, served hot and cooked to order, it's a nice place. And nearly every seat has a mountain view.
A cozy traditional Swiss restaurant that we enjoyed having lunch at after an enjoyable 3 hours hike in the mountains. We ordered the Fish Burger and the Salmon that tasted really well.
