Hotel Restaurant Schützen : Fuhren 439, 1, 3822 Lauterbrunnen

I ordered a schnitzel and chips which I have had a few in Europe whilst traveling. This one was pretty bad. Looking at it when served I thought it looked like it came out of the supermarket freezer. Upon eating it, it was dry, hard and the most boring schnitzel I’ve had, at a heavy price of around $49+ Aud. Yep, normally we check google before hand however we were hungry and the scenery was A1. The hotel's location is ideal. A leisurely stroll took us to the Lauterbrunnen railway station, our gateway to the majestic Jungfraujoch. We were also within easy reach of the iconic Staubbach Falls and Camping Jungfrau, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the region. What truly set Hotel Schützen apart was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly helpful, providing us with detailed directions, sharing fascinating local anecdotes, and offering invaluable tips for exploring the area. Their knowledge and enthusiasm enhanced our experience immeasurably. The breakfast, while not an overwhelming buffet, was a delightful start to each day. The warm, fresh food offered a satisfying variety of choices, and the friendly staff ensured we felt well taken care of. Their warm and polite demeanor created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The view of the hotel, its location and the warm and friendly behavior of the staff were very good. The rooms are very well heated and very clean. When I come again, I will definitely stay in the same hotel again.
