Bahnhöfli : Burgdorfstrasse 3, 3510 Konolfingen

The Bahnhöfli in Konolfingen is a charming little restaurant for about 40 people. It is run by Hedi. She and her staff served me with great care, friendliness, and courtesy. My spaghetti carbonara was delicious and delicious. Every day, you can enjoy a lovingly prepared menu with soup, salad, and dessert for around CHF 20. There is also an ice cream menu with wonderful creations. The Bahnhöfli also offers a small dining room for two people, called Bioux, for business people, friends, or lovers. The ambiance, with its beautiful paintings that every guest can purchase, creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Hedi also offers a professional catering service. At the Bernese GP, she is also known for serving up to 6,000 menus to the runners. I had missed the train at Konolfingen station. It was lunchtime. I quickly looked around to see if I could stop in. After seeing the menu sign at the 'Bahnhöfli', which offered asparagus, my favorite dish, which is also good for your health, I looked for a seat: inside or outside? Despite a bit of traffic noise, I opted for outside. The scenery not far from the station seemed appealing. It was easy to find a spot in the shade. The waitress asked if I wanted fried potatoes or not. For a sportsman, they certainly would. I soon received the salad, and the main course arrived after just 10 minutes, and I was completely won over: a combination of green and not-too-thick white asparagus! The sauce was excellent, although you couldn't refill it from the pot. The potatoes were also excellent. A surprise dessert was announced. When I saw it, I commented: it wasn't a big one, with strawberries and raspberries, the current fruit. I was also interested in listening to the locals' conversations. All in all a cozy place.

The Bahnhöfli is cozy. A pleasant atmosphere. We often go to the Bahnhöfli.
