The ambience is absolutely great, unfortunately the service during our visit was below the level that would certainly be appropriate for such a chic place. Of course, this can also have to do with absences due to illness and/or a lack of staff. But the waitress was very friendly. The food was delicious, we would have liked a little more seasoning for the tartare and it was a shame that the fries with the entrecote were bathed in the herb butter. But definitely worth a visit.

The friendly and attentive service immediately created a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for business discussions. The food was not only delicious but also attractively presented. The dishes were freshly prepared and offered a great selection to please every palate. It's clear that quality and regionality are important here. The relaxed environment of the restaurant at the Hotel Aare makes it possible to have a good conversation while enjoying the delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant for a business lunch! A thoroughly enjoyable stay!
