Restaurant Schmitte-Pintli Belp : Viehweidstrasse 62, 3123 Belp

We come from Germany. Were there on vacation. The restaurant is small but nice. Food excellent and very cheap. Hospitality is very important there! Happy to come back!!!

I wanted to rent the party room and called to make a reservation. I wanted to reserve the room for one day, and they told me on the phone that they would call me back. That didn't happen, so I went back a week later, where they confirmed my reservation. That same day, I asked for a second reservation, and I received confirmation. A few days later, I went back to check out the room again, and they told me that it wasn't possible for the two different days I had made the reservations, and they were telling me this five days before the event! Absolutely outrageous! The staff can't give me any real information, and the manager is never there, and they don't call me back either. That's a NO-GO! So I complained and that evening I received a call saying that they could still rent the room for one appointment. I then asked again about the price. At first they told me on the phone that the room would cost 70 euros excluding cleaning and 100 euros including cleaning. Then they told me on the phone that the room would cost 300 euros, which is utter nonsense! I am very angry with this company! The absolute cheek they treat their customers like this! I will never have anything to do with this restaurant/party room rental company again! Not a reputable company!

Tip top. Very friendly and great price. The food tastes great and, as a heavy eater, I feel very full.
