A hidden corner of the Jura, just the way we like it… Far from the hustle and bustle, nestled in lush greenery, we discover the Restaurant du Coq d’Or, a little gem with a simple, sincere, and warm atmosphere. Here, there's no fuss, just the essentials: taste, hospitality, and the pleasure of dining. A special mention for the menu. A real favorite. The meat? A joy in every bite: tender, flavorful. Small lost restaurant but exceptional in service, friendliness. Despite a great service, the staff is attentive to each customer, dynamic and continually helps each other! Address to remember absolutely!! Small plate of deer stew, chestnut crème brûlée. Perfect portion for a small eater

How lucky that we didn't follow through on our idea of skipping dinner that day! We were staying nearby and searched Google Maps for a restaurant, which led us to the Coq d'Or. We were served an excellent dinner with very friendly service, including a "filet de cheval"—yes, that means "horse fillet." A perfect piece of meat, presented raw on a hot stone, so you could adjust the degree of doneness yourself. As a committed carnivore, I've rarely had such a good piece of fillet on my plate . The appetizer and dessert were also impressive.
