Bern Airport : Flugplatzstrasse 31, 3123 Belp

Bern Airport is simply a lovely cozy small airport, normally quite calm. However, there are basically business jets, small private planes and helicopters in action. During summer season there are also chances to see a couple of airline jets (e.g. Helvetic Airways) arriving & departing from/to about a dozen European destinations. It has a stylish lovely coffee & snack bar and outside the terminal, there is a modern new hotel with around 30 bedrooms as most of 'em have a view towards the runway, It provides a restaurant with a nice sunny terrace towards the tarmac. The airport is home to Berns REGA base and the presidential Jets for the Swiss Government.

Small airport with cute small airplanes. Nice building with a direct view on switzerlands beautiful landscape. Due to its size, check-ins, security controls and boardings can be completed/passed very fast.

One of my favorite airports. It's small, you park the car just outside the building, you go through the shortest check-in procedure ever, and you simply walk to your plane. There is a small cafe with outdoor seating, where we like to stop for a coffee whenever we go for a bike ride in the area.
