Hotel Restaurant Bären : Bühlenweid 279, 3863 Gadmen

As we headed back from our mountain pass ride toward Meiringen, we were feeling hungry. When we arrived in Gadmen, the outdoor terrace with its parasols warmly welcomed us. We were able to park the car across the street from the restaurant. There is ample free parking. Bikers can park their motorcycles directly in front of the restaurant. We were greeted warmly and asked what we would like to drink. Very positive. The drinks were accompanied by the menu. The dishes are simple but perfectly combined. I treated myself to the "Biker Menu," sausage salad and green salad with fries for 18.50 francs. It was delicious; the fries were crispy, the sausage salad had plenty of onions and a well-seasoned sauce. All in all, a very good, no-frills lunch. Just what we needed for that day. I can highly recommend it.
