Rosenlauischlucht : Rosenlaui, 3860 Schattenhalb

I think everyone who goes to Switzerland should visit this treasure. Is so beautiful, so peaceful. Is a little hard to go there, but is worth it. The area has a nice hotel that you can eat a delicious meal.

A beautiful and enjoyable hike. There is plenty of parking available. The drive up to this hiking trail was already beautiful too! The hike is quite easy, most of the path is flat with an incline or decline, however there are some stairs. You get great views of the waterfalls and river. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Visited date: June 9th 2023. Getting to this location requires taking a bus from Grindelwald. The panoramic postbus is not free for Swiss travel pass holders. The journey to Rosenlaui was a remarkable experience. For 30 minutes, the bus will be parked at Schwarzwaldalp to take in the view before continuing on to the Rosenlaui Glacier. At a slow pace, it will take approximately an hour to complete the Rosenlaui Gorge from the entrance. The Rosenlaui gorge is a 5-minute walk away from a hotel.
