Hotel & Restaurant Ermitage Kandersteg : Oeschinenstrasse 49, 3718 Kandersteg

Our family ate at the restaurant Ermitage and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our meal of fondue and pasta was delicious, and our hostess, Enya , was just lovely. She made sure our first meal in Switzerland was one to remember by being kind to us and our children, ensuring our needs were met, and even snapping a photo for us! We also appreciated that there was a little playground for the children to enjoy while we waited for our meal. We highly recommend stopping by even if you are not a hotel guest!

New ownership stinks bad. Stayed here for tndays. One person to run the front desk, food, drinks, during summer?! Wow just so bad. Took 1.5hrs to just put an order in for food. They put us in a dorm room when they show premium rooms online, misleading. Mosquitos galore outside our door. No hot tub! Empty and filled with slugs. Couldn't find anyone with the key to the gym numerous times. Stay away unless you're desperate.

Very nice hotel and beautiful location. The breakfast they served was best. We enjoyed our stay there and the staff is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommended.
