Aarebar : Salzrain, 3380 Wangen an der Aare

Practically the only bar/restaurant on the edge of the miser. Very well located, a stone's throw from the center, enough parking. Limited menu but very good for the prices. Simple service, you pay and collect when the bell rings. Organized and clean.. Very nice when there is Live music.

Enjoy the end of the day in comfort, right on your doorstep, on the banks of the Aare. Enjoy fine dining and one of the many wines or an Aare beer. Listen to live music and enjoy a pleasant time with friends. It's just a shame that it's not open later in the evening.

Quite okay for an aperitif 🥂😎 So close to the Aare, it's been magically drawn to us every year. We've already changed hosts again, and with them the concept 🤦‍♂️ There's no fondue anymore, but instead a kind of wooden stage and a new menu. At least the young people who run it are friendly and nice. In nice weather, though, it's a bit overwhelming, so I'm excited for next year 😎👍🌴
