You are looking for a magnificent place and a bite to eat while enjoing the view over the middle of rural Switzerland? Look no further, Schwesteregg in the greater Entlebuch are is the place outside Luzern. Worth a massive detour;-) Host & Farmer Bärti (Albert) and his family are running their restaurant with passion and dedication you wont find anywhere else! Myself I was lucky enough to have had the chance to be introduced to the beautiful Rose-Beizli last week. The farm garden is stunning, the restaurant cosy and last not least the local, organic food is absolutely delicious. My friend and I enjoyed a delicious home made garnished braised beef salad. One of the best ever in my whole life! Oh, the view! The Entlebuch can be consideredthe Swiss high lands. The hills are all green and the Mountains in the rear are impressive, too. I can’t wait to go back!

Were on a motorbike excursion on the Sisters' Egg - totally pleasantly surprised! The journey there and back clearly shows how lucky we are to live in Switzerland. It was VERY comfortable there, everyone was super friendly. Yes, the food takes a while but there are worse places to wait - and it's worth it. Everything is simply beautifully prepared and delicious. There's enough of everything, the smoked sausage was a real treat. Prices for the food are more than fair. Oh yes and how beautiful can you build a toilet? 😅✌️
