We came across the Gasthof Kreuz in Aesch by chance – and it was an absolute stroke of luck! We wanted to eat a good, home-style meal, and that's exactly what we were offered. I chose a cordon bleu with raclette cheese, accompanied by hash browns and a small vegetable garnish. The Cordon Bleu was one of the best I've ever eaten - perfectly prepared, juicy and tasted excellent. The hash browns were to die for: crispy, golden brown and simply delicious. The portion size was also absolutely great, and the price-performance ratio is definitely right here. I can highly recommend the Gasthof Kreuz in Aesch and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Spontaneous stop – large portions, great enjoyment! Actually, we were just passing through and really wanted something hearty - home-style, honest, delicious. Luckily, after a few rather disappointing attempts, we came across this restaurant. And what should we say? The greeting on Easter Monday was warm and attentive - not something to be taken for granted on a public holiday. The menu immediately whetted our appetite, and the food exceeded our expectations: really tasty and portion-wise, nothing for the small appetite. Conclusion: full, happy, surprised - and definitely not the last time I've been here!
