Chetzeron Hotel & Restaurant : Chetzeron, 3963 Crans-Montana

A great place to take a break and connect with nature. People at the hotel are very nice and helpful. The food is delicious. I wish the sauna/ hamam was open in the morning already.

The architecture, the rooms and the view are one-of-a-kind, just mindblowing. The staff are also great, very friendly and down to earth, which I hadn't expected considering the price level. They picked us up in a 4x4 after we'd hiked down to Crans not knowing the cablecars to go back up weren't running. The restaurant experience however.. We got gnocchi the consistency of melted mozzarella and it seems the person who made the tarte tatin has never seen one before. The service staff was wonderful, but they really need to get a new chef.

We reserved a table here for a birthday lunch. After arriving by ski, we were fascinated by the view, and the architecture is incredible. However, at the time of our visit, the menu was disappointing. They didn’t offer the full menu (it would have been nice if someone had informed us when we made the reservation), and the service seemed a bit overworked. We expected better quality for that price.
