First day in Switzerland, having jag-leg and hungry, stay at Hotel Sonnenburg up the top of the hill, randomly pick this cute little tug away local restaurant to have dinner. Nice view eventhough it was rainy and cloudy gray weather. The only server/waitress work very hard. Only German menu, we have to use google translation, but the server speak good English. Unlike in US, the service won’t bother you unless you give her signal. Food was great. Next time I will try the horse meat dishes.

Tucked away behind grassy plains of Sonnenberg, Restaurant Schwyzerhüsli is a humble restaurant with typical Swiss cuisine. The owner is a down to earth friendly person, and the service too is friendly and fast. The view is pleasantly beautiful, and not to forget they have outdoor seating as well as a summery garden sit out. Food is excellent and inexpensive. A very homely atmosphere and we love going here.
