Hotel & Bildungszentrum Matt : Mattstrasse 19, 6103 Schwarzenberg

The hotel is in a peaceful, remote location with beautiful surroundings and plenty of free parking, which makes it a relaxing spot. The view was great and the balcony was a nice feature. However, the room felt too basic for the price, no fridge, kettle, coffee machine, or AC. The bed was quite low and the pillows too soft for my taste, though manageable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, there were literally no pastries except croissants, and even those weren’t always available at the buffet; we often had to ask for them. Checkout at 10AM is too early. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but despite the nice atmosphere, I probably wouldn’t come back.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Nature, silent and wonderful view from the hotel room. Close to Luzern, Zurich, Engelberg. This hotel is very interesting inside, I had a room of patron Thomas Edison, every room has different patron. I will never forget staying in this hotel.

This establishment is first class! We had one of the most wonderful experiences of a lifetime here. The entire staff was so caring and attentive to our needs, including Nicole, Serdal, and Georgio to name a few. The hotel is situated in the picturesque village of Schwartzenberg and offers breathtaking views of the Alps with Pilatus in clear view.
