Gasthof Krone : Unterdorf 1, Dorf 2, 6156 Luthern

We went to their restaurant last weekend when we were driving around Luthern. Everything is so goooood especially the people working there 😊 This is what you call “Swiss quality” —excellent food, classic interior, lovely autumn decos, very good sauser and 5-star ratings for the staff who were very lovely, friendly and professional. We stayed at the hotel for one night during a multiple day hike in April 2023.While rather unassuming from the outside the hotel room is newly refurbished, surprisingly modern, very clean with bathroom, shower and bed comfortable. the most positively surprising thing: the cuisine were excellent. a variety of local products combined with home made delicacies . The patron and all staff were very friendly and helpful.

Incredible hosts. We came in from a thunderstorm looking for accommodation and not only were they helpful when we only spoke English but they even gave us boot heaters for our wet shoes and allowed us to put our bikes in the garage. The hotel was updated and clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. Would highly recommend!
