Lifesaver. We came after 9:30 but they still served us -and it was delicious. Give it a try!

Spent a week in Gaís and ate everyday at this lovely restaurant (except when closed), they have an Italian chef ánd a team of cooks with Indian roots, resulting in variety of dishes to chose, going from pasta, freshly made pizzas, more classical Swiss food to delicious Indian cuisine, topped of with a smooth Mango Lassi at the end. Our heart goes out to the lovely Kitty who runs the restaurant, she is so thoughtful and aware of all her customers, fast, efficient, patient and super friendly, a treasure for any restaurant owner!

Not a good receiving. We went there and speak in german to ask if it was ok for a drink (it was early). They told us they were full. Ok, so I asked to take a drink outside (it was a little rainy but nothing that bad) terrasse was dressed up with chairs and tables. The boss told me "no, no we are full, thanks good bye" like "we" will not serve you (a lot of tables was available by the way, the village is not that huge and it is not a big season for tourists). Thanks for nothing. We will certainly have dined there after, why not? We told them that, but it wasn't good enough… we had decent closes, were smiling and everything. We have not understood. They were not nice at all. Please go away, THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY and do not want to make you discover the land and have a nice trip. Other places were real welcoming and nice by the way.
