We had such a great lunch at Schweizerhaus in Engelberg! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing. We felt really well taken care of. I especially loved that they have their own trout pond farm. It's such a special touch and you can really taste the freshness. Big thank you to Primo, the owner, for the warm hospitality and wonderful experience. Highly recommend this gem, and we’re already excited to come back!

We ordered fondue by phone for lunch, but when arrived the waitress said it could be that fondue wouldn’t be possible. Big internal miscommunication. Then, served old bread with so so fondue, service was very bad, was confusing orders, very impolite and was accepting not critics. Called manager and waitress were not shy to talk bad to my wife, in front of children and for the amusement of half of the restaurant. Well done guys!!!! To avoid, can mess your lunch time.

a little out of the main town so we had to take a taxi there & back due to winter weather. It is a high end place & we received good service & also very nice food. Of course the price is not low - but for Switzerland & the quality we found reasonable.
