We had a truly wonderful experience at Restaurant Anker in Flüelen. As four English speakers, the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. We had a reservation and chose the surprise tasting menu, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Every dish was beautifully prepared and delicious. The whole evening was relaxed and unhurried, we spent about 3 hours enjoying each course and the warm atmosphere. We can’t thank the team enough for their hospitality. If you’re visiting the area and appreciate good food and kind people, this place is a must.

This was by far the best fine dining experience I’ve ever had. Our server asked if we’d like to be surprised or order from the menu and we chose to be surprised. He wowed us with a 5 course masterpiece and paired our wine with the meal. The service was exceptional as well. This was more than a meal out; it was an experience I won’t soon forget.
