Fantastic lunch spot directly on the water! Quiet, picturesque. Next door to the Lucerne boat dock. The fish & chips and schnitzel were delicious. You order inside at the counter, self serve and pay for your beverages. Self seating and food is delivered to your table. It is nice inside but the patio is delightful! Very hiker friendly. WC and playground next door. Highly recommend.

The very friendly staff tries to make the best of what I think is an impossible concept with fast service. Running a barracks as a self-service restaurant in a very nice place is a shame, especially since there are no alternatives. Due to the concept, the menu selection is narrow. The wienerli with fries were ok. Great for a quick calorie intake . Not so much to enjoy the impressive backdrop.

Very friendly staff. Clean self-service bistro. Right on the lake, a bit of rail traffic but that doesn't bother you much.
