One of the best places in the area! The staff at Gasthaus Bergheim are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The food was absolutely fantastic, fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. I stopped here in the middle of a long bike trip, and they went above and beyond to help me securely store my bike in their garage, which gave me real peace of mind. Their kindness and hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through, whether you’re a cyclist or just looking for a great place to stay. Try the pork steak 😉🤤

Situated in a very quiet place with an awesome location. The service was fast and friendly. The short visit there was a memorable one. It's only during treks that we come across such places that leave an everlasting impression in our hearts and minds.

I recently stayed at a hotel for two nights and wanted to share my thoughts. The hotel's rooms are simple and basic, but perfect for someone who intends to spend most of their time outdoors in the mountains rather than cooped up in a hotel room. These rooms are also great for ski mountaineers, as the hotel's location is within a 20-minute drive to both Andrematt and Altdorf. The owner of the hotel was very pleasant and accommodating, and the restaurant served tasty food. Overall, I found the hotel to be excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in this beautiful part of Switzerland. I would also like to add that the hotel's WiFi connection was reliable and suitable for work purposes. This was an important feature for me, and I was glad that the hotel was able to provide a strong and stable internet connection.
