We happened to pass the hut today on our hike. It was a fantastic view, delicious food and an incredibly nice and helpful owner ☺️ an important note: be sure to bring Swiss francs with you. No card payment possible. We'll be back!

The small but nice alpine restaurant! With their philosophy "simple, warm, fresh" the hostess has had them since 2022 runs the “Alp Weid” with her team create a great concept and us with it, 100% convinced. The "Alp Weid" can be reached by cable car or on foot... and is a half-day or day trip with a fantastic view of Lake Uri and Lucerne and the surrounding area. Small and nice invites you - to enjoy and linger...
