Seebeizli am Urnersee : Tellsplatte, Bei der Schiffstation, 6452 Sisikon

When I was taking a walk along the shores of Lake Lucerne I found this magnificent terrace near the lake and at the Tellsplatte boat terminal where I could relax and enjoy a magnificent cappuccino with incredible views over Lake Lucerne located in the Sisikon area. This place can be accessed via boat across the lake or via the famous Axentrasse by car and then you can walk for 5 minutes to the place. Pleasant walk, incredible place ❤️🇨🇭

We were coming there on a spontaneous trip around Lake Lucerne and we just wanted to drink something and then go ahead. But fortunately we got a bit hungry and ordered the dish of the day. We got a pork steak with fries and a beer for each of us for under 50 francs and the quality was really good. The waitress was a little slow and unfortunately the restaurant is not accessible with the boat anymore since they decided to assess the landing stage and mark it as unsafe. The beer garden provides a beautiful view on the alps.

The See Restaurant Tellsplatte at the Urnersee is located along the path "Weg der Schweiz", a wonderful hiking trail. The restaurant is at the "Tellsplatte" ship port in the Sisikon community, just a few minutes from the "Tellskapelle". The restaurant is a welcome place along the path where you can enjoy just a drink or a full lunch. The food and the service by Roman and Gabriela Gick, are great. The terrace of the restaurant borders the lake in an unbeatable location. Great stop on the hiking trail.
