Berghotel Obersee : Am Obersee 9, 8752 Näfels

The hike up from Naefels takes about two hours, a bit steep and without particular sights. The hotel is located right at the beautiful lake and with great views towards the surrounding mountains. Service was friendly and food delicious. Make a reservation to get a table on the terrace. The place is perfect for a short stay at the hotel, a hike around the lake or to the majestic mountains - the nights will be completely silent... Enjoy it, a real jewel to be discovered. PS I chose a veal entrecote without fries, but extra vegetable...

Food is great, location is basically perfect! Didn’t stay in the rooms, but there is definitely a lot of nature to enjoy!

Absolutely unacceptable attitude of the waitress - she left us waiting for almost 15min, when we finally got her attention, she came to get the order, we politely said we haven’t selected anything as we didn’t see the menu so she grabbed it, threw in on our table, turned around and with sighing left to another table. Obviously, we left and would not come back. I am sure the day was busy for her, but this is not the way how to attract customers.
