Restaurant Szenario : Bannstrasse 6, 6312 Steinhausen

I ordered a pizza with mozzarella, rucola and tomatoes and the mozzarella was cold on the pizza. It felt more like eating a salad. Plus point: They have San Pellegrino which I love and beer was cold and tasty. Service was good. A bit pricey, but hey it’s canton Zug.

The food at Szenario was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is also very clean and well-maintained, which we truly appreciated. However, the overall experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the very unfriendly service. In particular, the two young waitresses seemed uninterested and cold. We were a group of friends dining together, and every single one of us noticed their unpleasant and distant attitude toward our table. It’s disappointing when such a great meal and nice setting are let down by a lack of basic friendliness and hospitality. We don’t expect overly enthusiastic service – but a simple smile and respectful attention should be the minimum.

We always love to come back here, or order the delicious pizza for take-away (try the calzone!). The food is always very tasty and I very much like the Salentine food suggestions. There is plenty of space between the tables, so you don't feel packed up. In summer, it's lovely to sit outside, especially under the pergola. But call for a reservation, or you risk to miss out.
