I was in this restaurante for a pizza some months ago and it was a good experience. So I decided to present the saint valentine menu to my husband and we went there yesterday. It was so disappointing…. First, the cocktail was not served with the amuse bouch as indicated in the menu. Second, no one came to ask if we wanted any other drinks. Were we suppose to only drink the cocktail for the entire meal? Even after asking about the wine menu, it took a while to receive it and to be served. Third, the poor quality of the food and presentation. The photos speak for themselves: small quantities and sauces with a strong but uninteresting flavor. Although the octopus and meat were good, they lost their charm due to the lack of good sides and the excessive sauces. In the end of the meal we were joking about still going to McDonald’s because we were hungry. Last but not least, the desert was a complete disaster. The cannoli was too sweet, without any other flavor and the jelly was with a really strange flavor and consistency. We paid more than 100chf for a really poor meal and the service was not good as well, they seemed very lost and they mixed a lot of requests. If they had stuck to a typical Italian menu, with simple dishes or pizza, they would certainly have had more success. If this had been our first experience, we clearly wouldn't be going back.
A great place with really tasty food. The owner, Alberto, is charming and very professional. The Pizza‘s are done by a Pizzaiolo from Naples who uses an original pissa oven. At this time the cook is from Sicily and is spot on preparing the food. A great italian experience!
Delicious, very good Italian food; spaghetti carbonara is our favorite dish here. The pizzas are top-notch, just as they should be. Starters are always worth it; if you're a couple, share a starter. Desserts are always delicious, delicious, delicious. The wine list is fine, just the right size. The service is top-notch, friendly, and attentive; you feel comfortable and enjoy yourself. The prices are good.
