L'embuscade : Rte de Champ-de-Croix 1, 1753 Matran

I was eagerly awaiting the revival of this place... and what a success! The renovation is superb, with careful decoration, magnificent furniture, and a lovely bar that invites conviviality. The terrace is a real plus, and what a pleasure to see the majestic stove, tastefully preserved – bravo! Upon my arrival, I received a warm welcome from the manager, which allowed me to quickly find my bearings. The fish of the day was delicious, perfectly cooked. For dessert, the Pêche Melba was a delight: a colorful and flavorful presentation, enhanced with matchstick almonds – a real treat for the eyes and the taste buds. The menu, reasonable and not excessive, offers enough choice to satisfy lovers of good food. A future place to meet and share, definitely! Special mention to the staff: efficient, energetic, and friendly. Congratulations to the entire team for this new challenge, which they successfully met!
