I recently dined at Tai Yien and was shocked to find an unexpected charge of 4 CHF per cup for water (4 cups totaling 16 CHF) on my bill. The staff never informed us about this charge in advance, which feels like a dishonest practice. Really do not recommend this restaurant!!!

A good restaurant in Bern that serves good Chinese food. This restaurant is near gurten Park. We had our dinner here after a good time at gurten Park :) Food was really good. It was served hot & was placed on a rack with candles below to keep it warm. The hot & sour soup was rrally good. Infact, all the food we ordered were really delicious! Not too salty too. We enjoyed our dinner in the cosy ambience. Price was ok.. its generally cheaper than having food in other parts of Switzerland. Service was good too. The staff there could speak in multi languages. Would love to be back for more if we go back to Switzerland next time.

This place is up there amongst the best chinese restaurants that I know. The food and the presentation thereof is simply amazing. It is so extremely delicious and the menus are well composed. Love it!
