I'm rarely so disappointed when leaving a restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the welcome was cold, almost nonexistent. Communication was difficult throughout the meal, and the lack of courtesy didn't help. It's not a matter of expecting stiff service, but a minimum of respect and consideration seems essential, especially in a place that's supposed to be welcoming. As for the dishes, they were seriously lacking in taste and care. Nothing catastrophic, but lackluster. Finally, reading the responses to customers who dared to share a review, it's easy to see that questioning is not part of the restaurant's philosophy. This is unfortunate, because with a little more listening and attention, the experience could be completely different. As it stands, I prefer to move on.
