A typical Palatinate inn with excellent food and drinks. Friendly staff. The owner himself is still in charge of the kitchen!

12 years ago I was a frequent guest at Zwickerstube, the food is still delicious, the service is nice, the place, well the boss hasn't changed much, he's just gone grey. ☺️ I highly recommend it.

That was the most tasteless ready-made meal I've ever had in a restaurant. The schnitzel was buried under a mountain of ready-made sauce that was so tasteless that I suspect that the ready-made sauce was “extended” again. Even the fries didn't taste like anything, the mayonnaise came from a ready-made bag and just tasted oily and cheap. When I left the beer garden I discovered the origin of the sauce, see picture, Mondamin sauce powder from the bucket. Sorry, but I definitely don't go to a restaurant and eat any processed food. My complaint was answered sloppily with “Thanks for that” and that was it. I certainly don't go to a restaurant to eat a hodgepodge of processed foods.
