If you're looking for a great hiking trip in Grenchen, look no further than the trip up to the top of the mountain! It was very foggy when we went, but that just made it feel like we were in a sauna. Definitely worth it to come back on a clear day to see the views!

The host couple is very friendly and accommodating. The Bettlachberg restaurant offers a fantastic view of Grenchen and the Aare River. The Swiss cuisine is excellent.

A place to feel good – thanks to a wonderful host couple... The Bettlachberg mountain restaurant absolutely impresses us! The location is fantastic - with a wonderful view that ensures peace and quiet as soon as you arrive. But what really makes this place special is the incredibly warm host couple. With their open and warm nature, they create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome. You can tell that they put a lot of passion and attention to detail into their work - be it in the lovingly prepared food, in personal conversations or in their interactions with their guests. Here you are not just a guest, but are welcomed like a friend. For us it is always a completely successful experience - we are already looking forward to the next visit! ☺️
