Good Italian food in Bern. Gnocchi with blue cheese sauce was delicious and everyone enjoy their food. Service was good, but the servers tend to do too many jokes, which made us feel uncomfortable at a certain point. Atmosphere was ok, but they allow people to smoke in the covered area which was terrible for us. Overall a good choice. Fair prices and big portions.

Despite the culinary letdown, the service at Piazza Italia was commendable, especially considering the bustling crowd of customers. Our waitress, fluent in English, French, and German, was a true gem, ensuring that we felt welcomed and attended to throughout our meal. While my dining experience at Piazza Italia had its ups and downs, the overall ambiance, service, and the delightful salad definitely left a positive impression. I would recommend giving this restaurant a try for a taste of Italy with a side of excellence.

A must stop when in Bern! My 2nd time and it didn't disappoint! I had the lasagna and my wife had a delicious filet manso with mushrooms and risotto! Both were great, but the filet was amazing!
