Landgasthaus Rössli Hundwil : Hauptstrasse 65, 9064 Hundwil

A very nice restaurant with Swiss specialties. We eat there often because we love the fondue bourguignonne! The value for money is good in my opinion, as the portions are quite large. The only drawback is that it's rather difficult to reach by public transport. There's only a bus to Herisau train station about once an hour, and only until a certain time. Parking is also limited. Nevertheless, it's worth a visit – the food and atmosphere are impressive!

I stayed in a double room for 2 nights.|The landgasthaus is 19 min of serenic busride away from the city of St. Gallen. |The staff is very friendly and accommodating.|Breakfast is simple (fresh bread, different slices of meat/sausage, cheese, juice and good! coffee) but delicious.|

Overall OK. Weird sense for propositions. Cordon bleu like is to be expected. The Kalbsgeschnetzelte contained perhaps 100 gr. of actual meet. We were asked whether we had had enough and my wife responded with a clear "no". But no corrective measures were taken. So we had a good desert somewhere else. It should be noted that the Kalbsgeschnetzelte was the most expensive plate on the menu.
