Restaurant Hirschen Thal : Dorfstrasse 6, 9425 Thal

As always, it was delicious! An enthusiastic customer goes along with the innkeeper. Christopher Jegan took over the deer about 3 weeks ago. Before that he was at Münzhof, Rorschach. The two of us had dinner. The veal liver with rösti on the attractive menu made me smile. And it was just as delicious. The liver liver is very tender and prepared to perfection. Also the Rösti as I expected. There was also a full-bodied Italian from Puglia (by the glass). Christopher knows how to skillfully prepare pizza, pasta and meat dishes. The tables are set invitingly and the room is discreetly decorated so that you can enjoy a cozy evening. See you next time :-)

We had lunch at the Hirschen restaurant in Thal and tried two dishes: a portion of spaghetti and a pizza. We enjoyed both dishes very much! 🍝 The spaghetti was cooked al dente and served with a flavorful sauce – freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The portion was sufficient without being too heavy – just right for lunch. 🍕 The pizza was also impressive: crispy base, well-seasoned, and generously topped. We particularly appreciated the fresh mozzarella and the pleasant seasoning. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food arrived promptly – ideal for a lunch break. The price was absolutely fair for the quality offered. Overall, a very successful visit – we'd be happy to come back!
