"Spisegg: A Cozy Gem for Hearty Swiss Fare Are you looking for a taste of authentic Austrian cuisine? Spisegg is a must-visit! We enjoyed a delicious meal of Schnitzel and beef goulash. The goulash was particularly flavorful and hearty. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal. Just a heads up: they only accept cash." My daughter was happy because there was a small kiss corner and I was entertaining her. Thumbs up for that corner.

After just over 4yrs of living in St Gallen, I've finally managed to visit this wonderful restaurant.... over 4yrs too late!!! Bring your appetite, the food is tremendous! The staff are attentive, warm, friendly & welcoming. We hadn't booked and they still squeezed us in. We were treated to traditional Austrian fayre, cooked & served to perfection, with generous portions. All in all, book in advance, bring your hunger, and prepare for great, honest food. Will visit again, though I'll order smaller portions👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
