Hidden gem if you are visiting the Gruyère area. A short drive away from the loud and busy chateau, allowing you to take in the beautiful mountains, cow bells and fresh country air. Ordered the Schnitzel which had exceptional portion size and brought back fond memories of a childhood in Switzerland. Friendly service additionally they accept payments in Euros.

A hidden gem in the neighboring village to Gruyere. Kind personnel, tasty food, good portions at a reasonable price in the Swiss context. They also know how to fry meat “vienna style”, - which many restaurants in Romandie are not able to do. Gets full quickly, so a reservation is highly recommended.

A typical swiss restaurant with good food, such as rösti, or an authentic mac&cheese . The area is quiet, surrounded by mountains in the beautiful region of Gruyères. I definitely recommend it if you want to try swiss specialties!
