I will not recommend. Kind of ruined our first day experience of Bern as we had high hopes to try out since it was very close to our place. We went on a very quiet Sunday afternoon as we just arrived in Bern. We were the only table then. There was no english menu and the staffs also could barely speak english or possibly refuse to. The waiter or the manager (?) that served us had a disinterested attitude and insisted we ordered drinks. We were sharing two dishes among 3 as it was early afternoon but the staff did not offer any sharing plates at all and when we needed salt, had to walk to the counter to ask for one. Even when confirming whether it was salt, it was eventually the pepper canister. We ordered two mains which were honestly very subpar. The grilled chicken was so thinly sliced and yet costed more than CHF25. The spaghetti also had no other ingredients, apart from the just two cherry tomatoes with the tomato sauce. The pasta was well cooked and the taste was decent across dishes but just not value for money at all.

waited two hours, staff was fully overloaded and not ready to serve more than 5 people in their restaurant. pizza wasn’t good and side orders were criminally small.
