The restaurant is not only serving amazing food but also has a great interior design. We’ve ordered our food on a spice level medium. All of us (daughter & partner with parents/-in-law) like hot food, so we expected a little more spiciness. Still it was delicious and my parents/-in-law went there already again (see pictures) and hopefully we in the future too. Special recommendation is the chiefs favourites!
Today I had a business meeting nearby this restaurant and had lunch at this place. My decision was based on previous google maps reviews. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and has a calm atmosphere. The staff welcomed me friendly and showed me immediately my table. I have ordered a dal with rice and vegetables. But prior to my dish I have received a complimentary green lentil soup which was delicious and the spiciness was on spot. The main dish was delicious, too. Especially the vegetables tasted great with the gravy sauce. I stronlgy recommend this place if you are near Bern.
Best Indian food in Switzerland and probably one of the best in Europe. I was so surprised to realise such an authentic Indian restaurant was hidden in Bern when we tried the food there by accident. Then in a short span of time I went back two more times. On each of the occasions they never disappointed. Specially try out the palak chat as starter. If you can handle the spicy, (they can really spice things up if you specially ask for it) try out the chicken 65. All their makhni gravies are awesome. But the stellar dish is the Gutthi Vankaya. You will be awestruck how the humble aubergine dish is elevated to the next level. They also cook biryani which is not run of the mill. We were told the dum biryani is only prepared during the Friday and Saturday which proves why biryani is so fresh here. We even met the cook once who came from Andhra and apparently he has been cook in prestigious and esteemed and laces in India and then UK before working here.
