Le Yaca : Av. du Mont-Blanc 28, 1196 Gland

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Le Yaca in Gland. This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, with a beautifully set-up dining room filled with flowers, creating a charming, Instagram-friendly, and slightly girly vibe. The table was impeccably prepared, adding to the overall experience. For the meal, I started with a mixed salad—nothing extraordinary, but fresh and well-prepared. My main course was a supreme of chicken with a parmesan crust, served with ratatouille and risotto. Everything was tasty and well-executed—not haute cuisine, but definitely solid, enjoyable food. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to serve, which added to the positive experience. Prices were very reasonable for the quality offered. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a cozy setting with good food and great service!

I initially rated this restaurant 5 stars, then dropped it to 4 because the staff forgot the dessert and we had to wait 45 minutes, but moved it back to 5 stars for the last visit: I said I was in a hurry and everything was super quick. The food is excellent. Outstanding. Every time. 🫠 Even the kid's menu is great, I would enjoy it myself in a standard French brasserie. The place is a bit hard to find, a in a commercial building. But once you're inside, it's a nice restaurant. The service is great, really pleasant.

Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and very good food. Considering it was their 1st day, I believe it can only get better. Wine list was good but some more choices will be welcome. Living in the neighborhood this will definitely become a "hang out"...
