I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of La Table du Valrose. The chef was recently elected best new chef in Switzerland. This is a must visit. Both the staff and the cooking are of the highest standard. High utilization of local products as well as healthy selections are to be underlined. Go there before the Michelin stars add up and the prices increase. I was invited thus I do not know the exact price paid.

Surprise of the year - best experience, we went this summer and and we both have been to dozens of 2 and 3 star restaurants. From service to the presentation of the dishes, fantastic wines (a lot of Swiss treasures) and of course excellent creations… this is a hidden gem in the Lake Geneva Alps close to Gstaad. Will be back this winter and staying at their hotel this time. Unfortunately no photos from the dinner as we wanted simply enjoy it, but the memories are well with us. Bravo and merci.
